Performing an entire volume of design, construction preparation for producing apparel, footwear, hats, soft furniture, etc.

Range of Application:

  • Sewing factories.
  • Design studios.
  • Custom labor.
  • For learning in the system of professional education for professions of "Apparel Constructor" and "Apparel Designer ".

Apparel Constructor Maestro - Functionality

Basic Packaging Arrangement of the Program ''Apparel Constructor''

Entering Patterns in the Program "Apparel Constructor"

Parametric construction of basic and (or) model apparel patterns.
Software package can include (must be purchased separately) over 50 basic apparel patterns, constructed by methods like Muller, by a number of methods for constructing patterns of lingerie, work clothes, knitted  wear, bags, gloves, and hats.  When purchasing the program module “Design” (see description), the buyer has an option to enter required construction methods of apparel patterns without assistance, including his/her original methods.

Copying from Previously Created Apparel Models

It is possible to copy pieces or groups of pieces from one or several models, including models graded by various size scales.  The system enables to create «references» to patterns, which are a part of a different model.  Such arrangement of information storage is very effective in production of a male suit, for example.

Display and Placement of Pieces on the Screen of the Program "Apparel Constructor"

Effectiveness of managing the screen content is achieved through an option to display required patterns on the screen and remove them from the screen, move pieces on the screen, rotate them by an arbitrary angle, mirror, fold pieces with reference to a line, superpose pieces.  Superposed pieces are joined in «groups»; the same actions, applicable to single pieces, are applicable to these groups.  It is also possible to perform functional actions with a «group» of pieces (measure, draft lines on all pieces of a group, perform modeling functions, construct derived pieces, etc.).

Growing Allowance for Seam Processing and Final Processing of a Cut

The program has an option to grow seams from finished view, as well as construct seams from a cut.  The program enables to set allowance for seam processing (around all sections or on separate sections) with a constant or variable seam width, taking into account methods of seam processing and corresponding cut processing.

Inspecting Apparel Patterns Pieces by lengths (fittings)

Powerful system for measuring lengths and fittings allows to measure lengths of sections, portions of sections, distance between points (on superposed pieces as well), projection of a distance to coordinate axes, compose algebraic expressions from select lengths.  Result of measurements can be not only viewed for all sizes, but it can also be used with the functions of pattern modifications.

Inspecting Apparel Patterns Pieces by Conjugation in the Program "Apparel Constructor"

To do so, two or several pieces are superposed in a particular manner.  User has an opportunity to review this superposition in each size, numerous functions for modifying pieces enable to make necessary changes to a piece of one, several, or all sizes.

Including Required Modifications in a Pattern in the Program "Apparel Constructor"

There are many functions for modifying apparel patterns (drafting and deleting lines, various deformations, etc.), which allow making necessary changes to patters of one, several, or all sizes.  Modification value can be set separately for each size, as well as for a «group» of pieces.

Construction of Derived Apparel Patterns Pieces (lining, adhesive, stitching, etc.)

A set of functions for modeling and modifying apparel patterns enables to construct effectively derived patterns from basic patterns (also using «groups» of pieces). The program has available functions to construct most frequently used derived pieces (stitching, adhesive, belts, flounce). There is an option to create macro commands; this allows growing an unlimited number of such constructions. If basic pieces are graded, their graded nests (gradations) are used for generating graded nests (gradations) of derived pieces.

Automatic Reconstruction of Derived Apparel Patterns Pieces upon Modification of the Basic Patterns

The program supports automatic reconstruction of derived patterns when basic patterns are modified. This also enables to alter ready model patterns for an individual figure.

Printing Patterns

Preparing the information for printing via plotter.
This is a standard option of the Julivi system. It is possible to print separate pieces, their segments, graded nest (gradation) of patterns, groups of pieces, etc.

Sending to printer.
Separate pieces, their segments, graded nests (gradations) of patterns, groups of pieces, etc. can be sent to printer in full size or scaled.  If a pattern(s) does not fit a printer sheet, it is printed in sections.

Additional Options

Additional Options of Technical Grading

Additional options are: generating patterns of intermediate sizes from patterns of any two existing sizes; transferring patterns from size to size, generating lacking sizes in proportion by two closest sizes, inspection of composition for size patterns, joining several graded nests (gradations) into one, transferring patterns to a different size scale.

Constructional Apparel Modeling

Provides an opportunity to perform modeling actions of any complexity level.  Modeling can be applied to graded patterns; this enables to generate graded nests (gradations) of resulting patters from graded nests (gradations) of reference patterns. It is also possible to perform functions with a «group» of patterns.

Construction of separate pieces and piece sets of various junctions (sleeves, pockets, collars, etc.) by using macro commands.
The program offers so-called macro commands (functions, which allow performing in one move a complex set of actions for construction or modification of a pattern). Macro commands enable to create a full set of pieces for a set junction (for example, top and bottom collar, stitching template, adhesive padding, etc.) in one command. When purchasing the module “Design” (see description), a user has an option to grow a number of such constructions without assistance.

Entering Patterns in the System with the Help of a Digitizer

Enables to input a fully formed apparel pattern or graded nest (piece gradations) which do not require additional processing, taking into account all processing elements (cut, finished view, grainline, inner contours, gashes, places for making pin holes and undercuts, etc.). It is also possible to input patterns of one apparel size with future consolidation of these patterns in a graded nest (piece gradation).

Importing Patterns

This option is performed with the help of a separate module «Converter». The module «Converter» allows operations with the following data format:
• AAMAANSI (DXF) of systems ASSYST, LECTRA, INVESTRONICA, GERBER, NOVOCUT;
• ASSYST (patterns and pattern layouts up to version 6, included);
• LECTRA (patterns and pattern layouts vet, iba and mdl);
• GERBER (patterns and pattern layouts);
• INVESTRONICA (patterns and pattern layouts of dos and windows versions);
• MICRODYNAMICS (patterns and pattern layouts);
• CONSULT (patterns);
• COMTENSE (patterns);
• CYBRID (patterns);
• ÃÐÀÖÈß (patterns);
• STATURE (patterns);
• PAD (patterns);
• Grafis (patterns).

Processing HPGL Files

Can be used for drafting patterns on plotters, including ones located at different enterprises.

Exporting Patterns to Format AAMAANSI (DXF)

Can be used to transfer information about patterns to other enterprises.

Processing Technical Documentation (specification for model of apparel, measurement table, duplication outlines)

Specification for model of apparel.
Is automatically formed in the module “Apparel Constructor Maestro” during operations with a model.  Additional data for pattern processing can be included in a specification.

Measurement table.
Is formed with the help of the module "Measurement table".  The module interacts with the program “Apparel Constructor Maestro”, where all necessary measurements are made. This enables to quickly form a document, which contains measurement data of a model in finished view and by cut patterns.

Duplication outline.
Is formed with the help of the module "Duplication Outline". Enables to show in a diagram form areas of pattern duplication, taking into account various code numbers of duplication materials and technical duplication parameters.
